In this tutorial, we will look at Events. Events are opportunities for you to customize what happens with the process and transitions.
For example, if you select a transition, an event allows you to make things happen before or after the transition is executed.
You can locate events at the events tab in the Property Inspector.
Select a transition in the Workflow Designer.
Then in the Property Inspector, you can choose either the properties for the transition or the events that relate to the transition.
Click on the Events tab in the Property Inspector, and click the + (plus sign) to the right of OnBeforeExecute.
You will now see a pane open at the bottom of the screen that shows the available events for you to add. The list of events is what is available for you OnBeforeExecute.
If you add more plugins, you can see the extra available events listed here.
Click on the + (plus sign) to the right of OnExecute, and you will see various different available events, again you can add more events by adding more plugins.
Click on the + (plus sign) to the right of OnAfterExecute and the events available are shown. For example, Assign to Lead Developer.
As with the other execute actions, by adding plugins from the marketplace, you can add events that give powerful features, without the need to write code.
Thank you for following this tutorial, we hope you find this function very useful in your projects.
